Are there those who are waiting for the second season of The Haunting of Hill House? Or for The Haunting of Bly Manor, to be precise (this is the official title of the second season)? It is expected to premiere on Netflix this year. We don’t know about you but we can’t wait!

While the first season is based on Shirley Jackson’s novel of the same name, the second is based on the 1898 novella The Turn of the Screw by Henry James. By the way, in this article you can read more about the author of The Haunting of Hill House and the novel itself.

We don’t want to spoiler the second season, that’s why let’s talk more about the first one. There’re two timelines. The plot follows five adult siblings whose paranormal experiences at Hill House continue to haunt them in the present day. Their flashbacks depict events leading up to the eventful night in 1992 when the family fled from the mansion.

The cast of the first season features Michiel Huisman, Elizabeth Reaser, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Kate Siegel, and Victoria Pedretti as the adult counterparts of the siblings, with Carla Gugino and Henry Thomas as parents Olivia and Hugh Crain, and Timothy Hutton appearing as an older version of Hugh. The cast for The Haunting of Hill House will be a little bit different. What will change?  Let’s wait and see!
