Tye Sheridan is only 23, but he has already played in such well-known movies as The Tree of Life (2011), Mud (2012), Joe (2013), The Stanford Prison Experiment (2015), Ready Player One (2018), and the X-Men film series (2016-2019).

The Night Clerk is his brand-new project, released by Saban Films on February 21, 2020. In this movie, Tye Sheridan plays the role of Bart Bromley, a young, socially challenged hotel clerk. While on duty, witnesses a murder in one of the rooms. Due to his suspicious actions he becomes the subject of a murder investigation.

But this is not a one-man movie, and Tye Sheridan is accompanied by such awesome actors and actresses as Helen Hunt, John Leguizamo, Johnathon Schaech. Besides, the role of Andrea Rivera is played by Ana de Armas, who is now one of the most popular actresses. For instance, in 2019, she appeared in such movies as Yesterday, The Informer, Wasp Network, Entering Red, Knives Out. This year we will see this talented actress in the following movies: Sergio, The Night Clerk, No Time to Die, Deep Water, Blonde! And it’s just February!!! What a prolific beginning of the year for Ana de Armas!

The work of the movie began in February 2018. The screenplay was written by Michael Cristofer, who is also a director of The Night Clerk. Tye Sheridan was the first to join the cast. Helen Hunt, Ana de Armas and John Leguizamo were cast in May 2018, and Johnathon Schaech—in June of the same year.

The Night Clerk holds a 39% approval rating on review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, based on 33 reviews, with a weighted average of 5.15/10. On Metacritic, the film holds a rating of 45 out of 100, based on 8 critics, indicating “mixed or average reviews.”
