On a scale of one to ten, how much do you like your job? Speaking about Liza Lou, it’s not even 10. Why? Because this artist has been working primarily with glass beads for more than 30 years! Can you imagine how many hours, days, months and sometimes even years it takes to create such works?

And this year is kind of historic for Liza Lou, as she has a chance to hold her first exhibition in Seoul. If you are in the city be sure to visit it until it closes on November 9.

Entitled “The River and the Raft,” the series has pushed the boundaries of Lou’s chosen medium, exposing its potential as not only a material but as a conceptual object. As a result, it can be classified as both painting and sculpture.

We really hope that her example can inspire you and give an impetus to work and make this and other days of your life highly productive. Work, develop and don’t forget to rest. Check our website and find many other interesting art events to visit.
