A private investigator who struggles with Tourette syndrome, and has a photographic memory works to solve the mystery of his mentor and only friend’s demise during the 1950s in New York City…

Have you recognized this movie? No? Then, it’s high time to tell you about Motherless Brooklyn, a neo-noir crime film that was released last Friday!

First of all, it was produced, and directed by Edward Norton, who also stars in the film, along with Bruce Willis, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Bobby Cannavale, Cherry Jones, Alec Baldwin, and Willem Dafoe.

Thought the movie has received mixed reviews from critics, especially for the excessive length, it was praised for Norton’s performance and the film’s ideas.

And it’s not surprising! Edward Norton had been developing the film since the early 2000s. He even made some significant changes in the story that was originally based on the 1999 novel of the same name by Jonathan Lethem.

And one more interesting fact…Radiohead singer Thom Yorke wrote a song for the film, “Daily Battles”, while Flea contributed bass and horns to the song. And we think this movie is a great job.
